इंग्रजी व्याकरणामधील Active Voice (ऍक्टिव्ह वॉईस्) म्हणजे कर्तरी प्रयोग होय, तर Passive Voice (पॅसिव्ह वॉईस्) म्हणजे कर्मणी प्रयोग होय.

जेव्हा इंग्रजी वाक्याची सुरूवात Let (लेट्) ने केलेली असते, तेव्हा अशा वाक्यालासुद्धा Imperative Sentence (इम्परेटीव सेन्टेन्स) असे म्हणतात.

Let च्या Imperative Sentence ची रचना

जेव्हा Let च्या Active Voice मधील वाक्याचे रूपांतर Passive Voice मध्ये करावयाचे असते, तेव्हा त्या वाक्याचे पुढील घटक लक्षात घ्यावे लागतात.

Let च्या Imperative Sentence मधील Active Voice च्या वाक्याचे Passive Voice मध्ये रूपांतर करण्यासाठी पुढील नियम वापरावेत.

नियम १ (पहिले स्थान)

पहिल्या स्थानी Let लिहावे.

नियम २ (दुसरे स्थान)

दुसऱ्या स्थानी वाक्यातील Object आहे त्याच स्वरूपात लिहावे.

नियम ३ (तिसरे स्थान)

तिसऱ्या स्थानी be लिहावे.

नियम ४ (चौथे स्थान)

चौथ्या स्थानी वाक्यातील To च्या Verb चे Past Participle म्हणजे तिसरे रूप लिहावे.

नियम ५ (पाचवे स्थान)

पाचव्या स्थानी वाक्यातील उरलेले शब्द लिहावेत.

नियम ६ (सहावे स्थान)

सहाव्या स्थानी by हे Preposition लिहावे.

नियम ७ (सातवे स्थान)

सातव्या स्थानी Let नंतरचे Accusative Case चे Noun किंवा Pronoun आहे त्याच स्वरूपात लिहावे.
